Brownout presents: Brown Sabbath continues it’s tour supporting our new album. August saw us traversing the US from the Pacific Northwest through the mountains of Colorado and across the midwest and yielding this great series of videos recorded live in the studio at KEXP in Seattle.
The tour now continues through the Northeast with shows in Boston, Brooklyn, Philadelphia, Syracuse, Providence and beyond all culminating in a show headlining Friday September 12th in Utopia Texas with the GZA of Wu-Tang Clan. you can see some footage of us in action with the Genius here.
We’re also excited to announce that we’ve received praise for the project from non other than the dark prince of Black Sabbath himself, Ozzy Osbourne, who was quoted in the Boston Globe saying:
“I’ve been hearing about this band Brown Sabbath for a while now,” said Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne in an e-mail forwarded by a band publicist. “I was shown a video of them performing “The Wizard” and it was a lot of fun hearing it with a horn section. It was great!”
